I’m Lucas McGregor

I work with software and technology teams. I focus on large-scale and data-centric systems for the Internet. I seek opportunities to drive change and make a personal impact. I enjoy working on small and agile startup, but I also thrill at helping large established teams take the next steps in their evolution.

When building teams and systems, I want to make things more just, ethical, and inclusive. The values that we live become embodied in the systems and cultures we foster.

Personally, I enjoy photography, sewing, knitting, spinning, and weaving. I am a huge sci-fi and old movie fan. I am a part-time essayist, philosopher, and grumpy political commentator.
