Former junkie and current DC Council member, Marion Barry, voted against the gay marriage bill (12Y to 2N) that he helped introduce. He sited his fear that African-Americans may not continue to help re-elect him, “We may have a civil war. The black community is just adamant against this.”[3] Barry, the former civil rights advocate,  said that his moral compass directed him to believe that marriage is a sacred institution between a man, a women, a crack pipe, a crack whore, and an FBI informant.

A civil war, Marion?  You mean like THE Civil War, the war America fought with itself to end slavery and start on the long road towards becoming the nation where you could be elected a mayor and then Council member?

I do not share Marion’s dim view of his electorate. My view of the Catholic Churches of DC is another story though.

The Catholic Churches of DC have issued an ultimatum. They will stop social services programs if the gay marriages go though. While the law will not require the Catholic Church to perform gay marriages, it would be required to obey the law and to honor gay spouses for benefits, rights, etc.

The Catholic Church has a long standing policy of protecting and promoting pedophilia and rape on a massive scale [1][2], but those people are forgiven by God (no one asked the kids) and are on their righteous ways to heaven. However, the tax-exempt Church will not continue to use its massive wealth, accumulated tax-free, to help the community if the sodomites are allowed to marry and will instead invest their money into child-abuse settlement funds.
